Eileen West's Heirloom Gowns

For Mother's Day Elizabeth gave me two Eileen West gowns. Eileen makes my favorite gowns. I love them, they are unrivaled. Eileen's couture quality collection is made from 100 percent lawn cotton. Her heirloom gowns are flawless with such fine detailing, exquisite pin-tucking, shell buttons and delicate Venetian lace. They are feminine, romantic, elegant and the epitome of what a summery, breezy gown should be. I feel grand when I wear them. Have you ever seen one of her gowns?
I'm not sure where she is, but I want to go.
Maybe it's the Isle of Santorini in the Aegean Sea!
Eileen uses lawn cotton for it's fine, high count yarns resulting in a silky, untextured feel and high luster. They are graceful and THE ideal gown for summer. When my sweet daughter gave me these gowns on Mother's Day I was thrilled, but I have NOT worn either of them yet. The big question of the day is,WHY? Why haven't I worn my beautiful gowns? I think because once I wear them they will no longer be new. Does this logic make sense to anyone else besides me? I know sooner or later I am going to wear them, but right now resisting the urge. Never having experienced anything like this before, I will have to ponder it for awhile. In the meantime, check out Eileen's gowns yourself. I posted the web address above. Maybe you will find a gown for yourself. WEAR it, ENJOY and dream of Santorini!
This is one of my new Eileen West Gowns.
Gorgeous isn't it?
Ah, Santorini, Greece....I think
I will wear one of my new gowns now!
