Over the last few days it's been rainy and dreary in North Texas - which I happen to love. Not only do we NEED the rain but it always makes me think of England. I have never visited England when we didn't get a few rain showers. Lower Slaughter is my absolute favorite English village! This classic Cotswold hamlet is nestled among the rolling hills of the English county of Gloucestershire. With lovely cottages built with the honey-colored Cotswold stone it sits beside the sleepy River Eye. In the Fall, this picturesque little town shines like the jewel it is! Enjoy!
