OLD FASHIONED BUTTERMILK PIE

This is the very first pie that I entered into the Texas State Fair Pie Contest. It won a blue ribbon and I was forever hooked! Since then this buttermilk pie has become a staple in our home. It is so stinking easy to make and requires only a few ingredients, making this THE PERFECT PIE! A cold slice will cure what ails you - guaranteed!

  • Cinnamon

WHAT TO DO
  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Mix together all dry ingredients except cinnamon.
  • Add all wet ingredients and mix well well.
  • Pour mixture into prepared pie shell.

I know mine is perfectly done when the top is slightly cracked and golden brown! So YUMMY right out of the fridge!

  3. Great experience with typing agency! I had a bit of a complicated request for a transcript with certain specific formatting and such and they were able to accommodate every detailed request. Their people are easy to talk to and very understanding. Just tell them how you want things done and they'll deliver it or if not, they'll suggest other possible ways. Keep it up, guys!

  5. I just wanted to let you know that I have been coming back to this recipe for jeez, maybe 5 years. It's now become a staple in my household for Thanksgiving desert. It's requested so much; I usually have to make multiples to send him with visiting relatives. Thank you so much for publishing this recipe!
