When offered at holiday parties, this cream-cheesy salsa of fresh cranberries, cilantro and jalapeño kick, everyone hovers around the serving dish until it's empty. Hope your friends and family enjoy as much as ours.
Spicy Cranberry Cilantro Holiday Salsa

- 1 (12-ounce) bag cranberries, fresh
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 3/4 cup cilantro, chopped
- 1/3 cup red onion, minced
- 1 Jalapeno Pepper, seeded and minced
- 1 Lime, juiced
- 1 pinch Kosher Salt
- 1 block Cream Cheese, room temperature
- Place cranberries in the bowl of a food processor and pulse until finely chopped, but not mush. Add sugar and stir to combine. Add cilantro, red onion, jalapeño, salt and the juice of one lime.
- Place in glass dish, cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Place cream cheese on a plate, drain the cranberry salsa and mound on top of the cream cheese.
- Serve with good crackers or dense bread.
