MAKING HOMEMADE ICEES!

Here's an easy way to make Icees, create fun memories with the kids and keep cool this summer - all at the same time!

Homemade Icees

DIRECTIONS
  • Fill a gallon-sized Ziploc bag with ice and 2 tablespoons of salt, I used Kosher.
  • Fill a quart-sized Ziploc bag with your preferred liquid, close tight and place it inside the gallon bag.
  • Shake it for 7 to 8 minutes, if your ice melts too quickly (and mine did) just add another handful to your bag, continue shaking.... and you've got yourself a homemade Icee!
  • Pour into your favorite glass and add a straw!

Fun and easy for the little ones in your life!

  1. Homemade Ices are such a creative way to enjoy a refreshing treat, especially in the UAE heat While trying this, I was also juggling tasks and needed support glad I had OTHM Assignment Writers to manage my academic workload efficiently.

  2. I absolutely love making homemade Icees with my kids during the summer! It’s such a fun and interactive way to beat the heat. The excitement of shaking the bags and watching the transformation is priceless. We've tried different flavors, and experimenting is half the fun. Not only do we enjoy delicious treats, but it also creates lasting memories in the kitchen together. 3. Who knew such simple ingredients could conjure a sweet, slushy delight? A kitchen experiment for all ages, a testament to playful ingenuity. I remember once, trying to make homemade ice cream with my nephew, a true drift hunters of sugar rushes. We tirelessly shook a bag, but our ice kept melting. We added more, shook harder, a relentless pursuit of the perfect scoop.

  4. This is such a fun and easy summer idea for kids! I especially like how simple the instructions are and the tip about adding more ice if it melts too quickly. A freight forwarding company in Karachi can also teach you how important proper timing and handling are when managing different processes.

  5. I once tried to make ice cream in a similar fashion during a power outage, sans a freezer, which felt like a low-budget Moto x3m level challenge. The result was more slush than scoop, but still a refreshing, albeit slightly lumpy, victory.

  6. Whipping up homemade icees at home is such a fun and nostalgic way to beat the heat, giving you complete control over your favorite fruity flavors without needing any fancy commercial equipment. Experimenting with different juices and sodas to get that perfect slushy texture makes the whole process feel like a cool science project with a delicious reward at the end.
