Vintage Halloween Treat Bags & Tags: Free Printables!!

Hi there everyone, how are you? It’s almost Halloween and I for one am thrilled! Celebrate the day of ghosts and goblins with me using these spooktacular free printable Halloween bags and tags! You won’t believe how quick and easy it is to make your own DIY Halloween Treat Bags and/or Tags! These retro-Halloween graphics can easily be printed on brown paper bags using your home printer.

Ok…let’s see what supplies we will need!
  • Plain brown paper bags
  • Scissors
  • Doilies or other embellishments for the top of your bags
  • Ribbon or string
  • Hole punch

After you have printed your bags with images it's time to decorate them. Here's an easy tutorial on how to print graphics onto paper bags.
  • Fill your bag with whatever goodies you desire.
  • Fold over the top of your paper bag.
  • Fold a doily or other round embellishment over the top of your bag.
  • Using your hole punch, punch two holes near the top of your bag.
  • Thread a ribbon through the holes and tie a bow.
You can also print off these graphics smaller to make Halloween gift tags. I just disassembled one of my brown lunch sacks to print on. I cut them out, punched a hole and tied on brown string. They are great to tie around cello bags filled with candy, cookies, peanuts or other Halloween goodies. They add a cute personal touch to any bag you might be giving out.

Just imagine all the possibilities…all the different ribbons…punches…designs…so much potential. I do hope these ideas get your inspiration all charged up for Halloween! We will be covering some other Gift Wrapping Printing Ideas in the weeks to come that I think you will also enjoy. So till then…enjoy the Fall weather and everything that goes with this special Season! And don't forget to send your Halloween guests home with one of these adorable treat bags or pass them out to your children's friends, they'll love them!
