SNAPSHOT MOMENTS

One of the non-studio photos E had taken during her Deb year. Downtown Dallas makes a great back-drop.

Back in the day, when Mr.P asked me to marry him, we had our engagement photos taken in a studio. Now-a-days, almost all engagement photos, along with senior photos, wedding photos or photos of families, are taken outside. If you find yourself in the position of looking for the right location to do just that, you couldn't ask for a better area than North Texas.  You may not realize it, but here in the DFW area we are surrounded by tons of options for photography location. When you begin your search, keep in mind to choose a location that fits your personality, style and theme to set the overall tone for your photos. We have a wedding coming soon to our family, our oldest son is marrying his sweetheart. Last week, I sat down to come up with a comprehensive list of photo-ops in our area. My favorites are Deep Ellum, South Side on Lamar and Uptown, but that's because I LOVE the city. I also added places to the list like the Galaxy Drive-In Theater in Ennis, Downtown Denton and the Adriatica Village because they are special places to Jared and Amy. Whether it's an engagement, wedding, family, senior or just good friends your trying to capture in a photo, remember to express the memories you've shared -- and where. This list contains awesome photography location ideas, for the novice and expert photographer alike. They all come with easy links to follow, happy hunting!

This is our sweet niece, Kristin and her new husband Leo - just in an open field in Dallas. So sweet!

What you catch on film is captured forever......
it remembers the little things, long after you've forgotten everything.

  1. Every time I see awesome engagement/wedding/senior photos, I want to go back and do mine all over again. Mine were so traditional (and are so old now!), and I have such better ideas now. Oh well.

  2. Beautiful shots. I wish I could redo my wedding pics knowing more about my photography preference.

  3. As a natural light photographer I am always looking for new places to shoot around Dallas! I'm definitely going to have to check some of these out!

  4. Lovely photos! There used to be a neat little soda shop in downtown McKinney that would be great for a themed shoot as well. I haven't lived in the Dallas area in so long that I'm not sure if it's there anymore.

  5. Every day, at least 600+ students from all around the globe turn to our service asking ‘Can you do my essay please paperhelp org scam?’ or ‘Will you write my paper for me?’. So, why are there so many people willing to pay for essay instead of completing the assignment on their own?
